Least favorite character

Who did you choose in the poll as the character you disliked the most and why? Did you have a hard time narrowing it down to your least favorite?

I chose Lauren. My reasoning is that she is so mean and nasty without the excuse of being a vampire! She's just jealous and catty. I don't like her at all.

I had a hard time just choosing one, but I finally picked Rosalie. How sorry can you really feel for someone who is the image of perfect beauty?! Ha ha! I really disliked Lauren as well, but at least you knew what to expect from her, and she wasn't in a position that she had to be around Bella much (if she didn't want to). I actually thought that Jessica was worse than Lauren, because she's such a fair-weather friend. She was only nice to Bella when something was in it for her.

On the other hand, Rosalie is like Edward's sister, but she doesn't even make the slightest effort to welcome Bella. I can understand needing time to warm up to someone, but she is just bratty for no reason. And to discover her jealousy later - that Edward picked Bella when he wanted nothing to do with HER. It's always about herself (Rosalie, Rosalie, Rosalie!) I do feel bad for her about not being able to have kids, but she shouldn't hold that against Bella. I think that even if Rosalie h a t e d Bella, she should try to be nice to her for Edward's sake - after she's seen him unhappy for so long, she could try to be decent about it when he finally finds someone.

I actually kind of like her. I think the fact she can’t get over Edward (especially when she has someone else) leads me to believe there is something else. I can't help feeling there is so much more to her, and that mystery intrigues me.

I agree though, she is not nice and that gets kind of annoying!

Wow, I think I forgot to answer this question?? My least favorite character...hmmmm. I chose James as I think he is down-right mean and blood-thirsty. Yeah, he is a vampire...but he is so cruel. Plays the mental games and I guess he is like a cat vs. mouse kill. Plays around with the "victim" until the kill.

I'm with you on James. I think she tried to make him the poster child for evil vampires. I think he is a rather shallow, and I wouldn't want to spend too much time getting to know his character.

At the same time, I liked the way James talked all casual and friendly to Bella - up until he started trying to kill her. I don't know why I liked that. TWISTED!
