Introductions

I wanted to still have everyone's initial introductions on here so here they are... as members join (if any more do) they will be a normal post.

Annegirl:
Hey everyone. As you probably know I am the one that started this website and the book club. I am Cheryl but on here I will go by Annegirl. I picked my name because I love Anne of Green Gables and my middle name is Anne and I have always been so happy I had that 'e' on there like Anne Shirley. I love books, movies, scrapbooking, etc. I just turned 31 and am still getting used to being "officially" in my thirties. I still feel 17 in my head most of the time. I am so excited for this adventure!!

Deenie Bug:
Hello - This is so great to have this forum to talk - thanks Cheryl (and Doug!). I am really excited about the reading we will be doing. The list looks great! I love reading, scrapbooking, tole painting (crafts, in general) and being a mom. I look forward to making new friends. Have a great day

Bookworm:
This is so great! I am so happy to be a part of this book club! I feel this will make reading books even more fun as we read other's book choices and then interact with each other about the books. Thanks, Cheryl, for starting this sorority...and inviting me!

BreeAnn:
Hi everyone! I am excited for this website as well. Great job Cheryl and Doug. I also enjoyed reading everyone's answers to the long list that Cheryl gave us :). It was fun to get to know you all in some small way. I love to read so I am excited. After I have my little boy in July I will be going down to working only 3 days a week, so hopefully that will give me some more time to read....I know I may be delusional. Oh well! :)

Keddy-Weddy:

Hello Everybody!I am Callie Van Wagenen. I am Cheryl's sister-in-law. I was just married in October and am living in Provo, Utah. I am currently going to UVSC (UVU) and majoring in Deaf Studies with an emphasis in Interpreting. I am working for a photographer in Orem as his studio manager, which basically means that i am a receptionist, a photo editor, and i run the day to day operations. I'm excited for this "sorority" so that i have an excuse to read something other than text books! I love to read, cook, sew, knit, and watch movies.

Sanya the duck:

Hello Sorority Sistahs!

I'm Sanya Fenn. My username references my claim to fame from Peter and the Wolf - except instead of S-OH-nya the duck, I'd be S-AH-nya the duck! Callie Van Wagenen (aka Keddy Weddy) is my dear little sis and invited me to join this fabulous group. I can't wait to get started. What a great idea! Cheryl and Doug, thank you! I live in Mesa, AZ with my 4 boys (one of those boys is my husband), so this will be like an estrogen-fueled indulgence for me. YES!

Stampin_Maniac:
Hey everyone!
I am so glad that Cheryl (and hubby) set this up! I can't wait to read the book and talk about it! As you can tell by my username, I love to stamp! And I will scrapbook every once in a while. I had fun reading all about you in the questionnaire Chery sent out. I look forward to talking to y'all soon!

Stephanie:
I am Stephanie Floyd, Cheryl's older sister...Marcia's daughter... Karen's sister-in-law...Heather's cousin...and Maureen's neice. Now if that didn't confuse all of you enough... I am also Dan's eternal companion.. and loving mother of McKenna (12) and Courtney (7). I could keep going, but I won't!
I am a stay at home mom, I love camping (there are some who would question my use of the word "camping"... Dan's uncle calls our trailer the "condo on wheels") traveling everywhere and anywhere, and most of all spending time with my family. All my neighborhood friends are dreading the upcoming end of the school year, and laugh at me because I am actually looking forward to having my girls home with me all day! What can I say... I actually LIKE my kids! They are a ton of fun!
I keep busy with all the regular household stuff... but I also spend quite a bit of time volunteering at school, being involved in church activities, and trying desperately to catch up on my scrapbooking! I LOVE my life! I have the greatest husband in the whole world, two amazing, bright, and adventureous girls, and more blessings than I count everyday to be grateful for... what more can I say?!

G-Mama:
I look forward to getting to know everyone better... even those of you I already know. This should be lots of fun!I hope that I am doing this in the right place. I just wanted to write a little introduction. I am Cheryl's friend here in Kenosha, WI. I have 2 crazy boys-Gabe and Garrett (hence the screen name G-Mama). They are so much fun and definitely keep me busy. Gabe is a very friendly and talkative little guy who loves to sing, loves pirates and "scary things", and loves other kids (like Abi!). Garrett is a very sweet and happy little guy who keeps the peace. My husband is just starting his fourth and final year of medical school to become a Podiatrist and we are so excited to have the end in sight. I am a stay-at-home mom but I did graduate from BYU and worked as a fitness trainer and consultant in a corporate wellness center before having my babies. I grew up in Mississippi and I miss my family but I love Kenosha and have some really great friends. I have always loved to read and now reading truly helps me keep my sanity.
