The social system was based on the concept of primogeniture (yes I looked that up), the right of the first born son to inherit the entire estate. How does Austen treat this class system in Mansfield Park?

i finally just finished the book - March 5th - took a sick day to read all day. I didn't see as much of that in this book as in say "Pride and Prejudice" but I guess that everyone thinking an alliance with Fanny and Henry would be most advantageous with wealth, etc. would be one example.
