Relationships

Compare the relationship that George had with his mother to the relationship he had with his stepchildren.

Cheryl said...: I'm not sure. I think he would have liked to have more say in their upbringing but he was a good example to them. I think it is a good comparison that George detested his mother at the same time he loved her but she did not drive him to do good.. that was all him. However, his presence in the life of little Jacky, it seems, had a great effect on how Jacky turned out and the kind of man he wanted to become.; February 18, 2009 at 10:49 PM
The Kings said...: His mother was the trial of his life. He loved her and she loved him but you would not know it by the way she talked to and treated him and his siblings. She was always trying to hold them back and tear them down. On the other hand, George dearly loved Patsy (the daughter) and Jacky (although Jacky was a challenge to him as far as dicipline went) and encouraged, complimented them, and urged them to try their best.; February 19, 2009 at 6:01 PM
