Hogwarts vs. real world
How does the Hogwarts world compare with the Muggle world? Does Rowling want us to make such a comparison?

I never really compared Hogwarts with the real world, but I sure wanted to hang out there. How fun to live in a massive castle with your friends, and do magic.
I don't think it compared much at all except that there was good and bad, friends and enemies, fear and courage, and love and hate. But the ways in which they lived and dressed and their knowledge and powers were so different from the Muggles without powers.
