Favorite books are the Anne series and Emily series by L.M Montgomery, the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling, Timeline and Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton,just about everything by Shannon Hale (especially Goose Girl and Book of A Thousand Days), the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull, the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini, the Hunger Games trilogy and Gregor series by Suzanne Collins, the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, and Leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld. I add to my favorites list all the time!

They are the colors Death sees in different situations and with different people.
It reminded me of scent. When you smell something that you associate with a memory, it brings it back instantly. There are so many things you assign a scent to.
I think he did this with color. Each color represented something to him, some memory, some significance.
I loved the colors because it gave a real and touchable human side to death. We all associate different sights, sounds and smells with memories. For death each individual was identified by the colors of the world when they left it. It made it feel like he cared and that everyone who left the world was an individual, remembered and unique.
