reasons
Why did Miss Minchin dislike Sara? have you ever had someone dislike you for something that wasn't your fault or wasn't true?

She was a selfish and mean-hearted person anyway...and then Sara came along with riches and a wonderful loving attitude and Miss Minchin was jealous and angry. But as long as Sara had all the riches then Minchin treated her wonderfully because it would look better to the parents of the other girls and provide her a good wage and be good for her school.
Of course. I think everyone has had someone like them for reasons that aren't their fault. Miss Minchin was a very unhappy person and I think when you are that way it is hard to like and appreciate someone that is happy and has so much whether that's real or imaginitive.
