Homesick
Why do you suppose Heidi is so eager to leave Klara and go home? Why does Klara want her to stay?

She misses her grandfather! And the grandmother, and Peter, and the goats, and the mountains....
She left part of herself on that mountain and she wouldn't be fully happy again until she was there.
Klara would of course want her to stay because she had a friend. I would imagine that being a child bound to a wheelchair in a household of adults would be very lonely.
With Heidi there interesting things were happening, she had someone to talk to that was close to her age, and I'm sure she was having more fun than she had ever had.
She misses her Grandfather, the Grandmother, Peter, the goats, and the Alm. She is worried that the Grandmother will die before she gets back home. She likes Klara but wants to go home. Klara wants her to stay because she needs a friend and because Heidi makes everything so much more interesting each day! She also loves Heidi.
For one thing, Heidi was tricked and had no idea how long she would be away from her home and family. She was so good for Klara though. She makes her feel normal and alive.
