"A summit isn't just a place on a mountain. A summit exists in our hearts and minds. It is a tiny scrap of a dream made real, indisputable proof that our lives have meaning. A summit is a symbol that with our force of will and the power of our legs, our backs, and our two hands, we can transform our lives into whatever we choose them to be, whatever our hands our strong enough to create."
Do you believe this? Do you have summits in your heart and mind?

Erik said that so beautifully. Yes, a summit is a place you reach where you feel in tune with God, nature, and yourself...and have reacheda goal or a point on the journey of a goal where you feel happy and fulfilled and successful in whatever it is you have endured to accomplish.
I have so many summits. I think we all do. Sometimes we make them, sometimes we come close, sometimes we fall short but it really does matter that we try to climb them.
