Overview
Does the book deliver in terms of engaging you all the way through? Are characters compelling, is the plot suspenseful, and are you satisfied with how the story ends?

It engaged me. It compelled me. I loved Dashti. I was interested in the Kahn. I enjoyed the ending. I loved the book.
Yes, I got really involved with Dashti because of the story she told about herself. The suspense kept my attention. And the end results were to my liking...Dashti and Tegus marry, the evil Kahn is destroyed, and the Lady Vachir was made to look like the fool and creep that she was.
