Good and Terrible
Throughout the book there is a paradox about Aslan, which the beavers especially talk about. They say he is good and terrible. Compare this to what is said about God in the Bible.

It is said about God throughout all scriptures really.
I don't think terrible is used in the same way. Terrible as in huge, all powerful...
God is spoken of in the Bible as great and terrible. Perhaps "terrible" meaning powerful and omnipotent in all things and one you look up to in awe and perhaps a little fear.
