Lucy
In the beginning the children have trouble with Lucy's claims that she has been to Narnia. What does the Professor say about this? How does he apply magic to this situation?

He asks them if she is usually untruthful. Then when they say no, she is usually a very honest girl, he asks why they think this would be any different.
Of course he knows that Narnia exists but I think he wants them to find out for themselves.
He challenges them with the question of how truthful Lucy has been. They realize they have always been able to trust her. With this challenge he supports her claim that Narnia really exists and picques their curiosity.
