To be a princess... or not
As you read the book, were there times you wished for Miri to be chosen as princess? And times when you hoped she would not be chosen?

Yes! I really wanted her to be chosen by the Prince and have a "happy ever after" ending...but I also knew that she cared for Peder and wanted so much to have him care for her.
I thought she could've been a wonderful princess, but it was hard for me to want that for her when she obviously had feelings for Peder. I thought the way it ended up was perfect.
I wanted her to be the princess for most of the book. Even when she was going back and forth herself i still wanted her to be. But by the end i was happy the way things turned out.
I did want her to be the princess but at the same time I wanted her to be with Peder... so ..
