Favorite books are the Anne series and Emily series by L.M Montgomery, the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling, Timeline and Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton,just about everything by Shannon Hale (especially Goose Girl and Book of A Thousand Days), the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull, the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini, the Hunger Games trilogy and Gregor series by Suzanne Collins, the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, and Leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld. I add to my favorites list all the time!

Yes. She always loved her home but it became even more precious to her but she also realized that she wanted to see more of the world out there, too...and also wanted to have a flower garden like in the picture at the Academy
I can hardly remember what the book said about her visit; the ending seemed a little rushed to me. It was nice that she had an "in" with Britta so she can see more of the world; it also gives her a connection that will help her continue to serve her community. It's nice that she could see all the beauty and culture of different places and still have a love and appreciation for her humble little village.
