Screwtape and Wormwood
The sub-plot of The Screwtape Letters turns on Screwtape's relationship with his nephew Wormwood, the apprentice tempter and demonic understudy in charge of carrying out Screwtape's instructions.

Scretape looks down on his nephew but teaches him hoping to have him be succesful at capturing the patient for him. Wormwood looks up to his uncle as a great leader and teacher. Screwtapes ending thoughts show that devils are out for their own success and have no love for another especially those who fail in their eyes.
