Jason and Rachel
How did Jason and Rachel’s relationship change from the beginning of the
book to the end? At what points did you notice a shift in how they
interacted?

They didn't trust each other but found through a series of "tests" that they would stand by each other and felt that the quest to conquer Maldor was important to them in providing a way home, helping others to get back their freedom,and doing what was right. They became a team along with help from a few others.
At first I think they were a little bit competitive but by the end they are great friends. You kind of have that happen naturally when you go through hard times together.
