Favorite books are the Anne series and Emily series by L.M Montgomery, the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling, Timeline and Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton,just about everything by Shannon Hale (especially Goose Girl and Book of A Thousand Days), the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull, the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini, the Hunger Games trilogy and Gregor series by Suzanne Collins, the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, and Leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld. I add to my favorites list all the time!

I was having a hard time finding the desire to get into this one. I read the Lord of the Rings, but it wasn't my favorite. I was hesitant to read another by Tolkien, but was planning on it. Then when my grandmother died and I headed out of town for the funeral, I just decided not to read this one. I knew I wouldn't find the time while with my family to read a book I was on the fence about. Boo on me I know. Oh well. I am planning on seeing the movie though.
