Favorite books are the Anne series and Emily series by L.M Montgomery, the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling, Timeline and Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton,just about everything by Shannon Hale (especially Goose Girl and Book of A Thousand Days), the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull, the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini, the Hunger Games trilogy and Gregor series by Suzanne Collins, the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, and Leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld. I add to my favorites list all the time!

He is virtuous. He can be a man or a bear...depending on what is required of him at a particular moment. He was very kind to the dwarves and Bilbo when they were in need of rest and food. And later helps in the battle.
I thought he was virtuous. He helped them out quite a bit even after they had left his care. I think he was trying to help them fight for their cause.
I agree. I think he is virtuous but he is careful about who and what he gets involved with.
