Favorite books are the Anne series and Emily series by L.M Montgomery, the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling, Timeline and Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton,just about everything by Shannon Hale (especially Goose Girl and Book of A Thousand Days), the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull, the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini, the Hunger Games trilogy and Gregor series by Suzanne Collins, the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, and Leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld. I add to my favorites list all the time!

Yes! Slim was right. George had to finally take Lenny's life. He tried hard to guide and protect Lenny but when murder was committed George knew he could not protect others anymore from Lenny...and he also knew that if the group of men caught up to him they would kill him or if he was sent to jail he would not understand what was happening to him.
Yes. Something had to be done. They couldn't let Lennie continue to hurt innocent animals and people . I'm sure they didn't have anywhere to put him that could take care of him in those times and I think he did what he felt he had to do to save Lenny from the other men and from himself.
