Favorite books are the Anne series and Emily series by L.M Montgomery, the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling, Timeline and Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton,just about everything by Shannon Hale (especially Goose Girl and Book of A Thousand Days), the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull, the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini, the Hunger Games trilogy and Gregor series by Suzanne Collins, the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, and Leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld. I add to my favorites list all the time!

They didn't keep practicing the steps Aslan gave Jill. They took their eyes and minds and hearts off of what they were supposed to be doing in favor of what they wanted in the moment.
The steps Jill had been given by Aslan were fading from her memory and so they kept getting off track of what they were supposed to do. They met a Lady on their travels (who was really the wicked Emerald Queen) who enticed them by telling them to go to Harfang where they could get baths, food, and beds to sleep in. They were tired, hungry, and cold so that was enough to pull them to the city.
