I really liked that. He worshipped Tash in name but he really worshipped Aslan through his actions. I thought that was really profound. We see this in our day and age. You can say you serve God and Jesus but if your actions are evil and cruel, you are really not worshipping God. But then you can see someone who doesn't necessarily worship God and their life is full of service for others and kindness and you know that they are serving God without knowing it.
So well said Cheryl! Emeth had true fidelity to Tash and believed him to be the "God" and served him to the best of his ability. At the Stable everyone was told Tash was inside but it was a lie and they were also told Aslan and Tash were the same. Emeth did not believe this and wanted to go in the stable to find out. In there he found out that guards were there to kill anyone who came through the door except "the gang". He had to fight for his life and threw the guard out the door. Then he saw light and beauty. He was still looking for Tash but found the true "God" Aslan who kissed him and welcomed Emeth and counted his true faith to Tash and his service as service to Aslan.
