Prejudice
In the end, Matthew shows himself to be a law-abiding citizen, even though he is prejudiced against those with different ideas. Do you think it is possible for a good and decent person to have prejudices?

Yes, I think we can all have prejudices or judgements of one sort or another. I don't think that necessarily makes a person bad but how one reacts to others can be the test...hate, cruelty, unkind remarks, anger that is destructive, etc.
I think that we all need to work oun our prejudices. I have some that I work on almost every day. We do need to be mindful of what we do with our prejudices, though.
Yes. I think most people have some prejudices of some kind. I know I do. I try to overcome them and not let them effect how I behave but sometimes it is hard to not have any.
